The fight for survival against the Rotten Storm continues, and Against the Storm – Keepers of the Stone introduces: a new race, two new biomes, a set of new buildings, decrees and dangers. Toads will help fight back the Storm – experienced stonemasons and noble lovers of water. Thanks to the low tide, new opportunities have opened up – after many cycles, the Coastal Groves have finally become available. Although these ancient flooded settlements are remote and difficult to access, they hide untold treasures. The site of the Ash Thicket was once a dense forest, but ruthless industry destroyed it. Among the charred trunks, it is not difficult to find traces of bygone times, and a valiant governor will not miss the chance to return these places to their former glory.
Against the Storm — Keepers of the Stone includes:
• Greet the noble toads and take advantage of their ability to work with stone, resistance to rainwater, as well as their ability to increase the speed of joining new settlers.
• Housing occupies a special place among their needs - proud toads refuse to live in ordinary shelters, demanding that special upgradable toad dwellings be built for them. Each of the four levels of improvements makes significant changes to the functionality of the dwellings, which allows you to succeed in the most difficult circumstances.
• Explore the new Coastal Grove biome, where settlements are located along the water, far from the royal envoys and the benefits they provide. Use the unique building for this biome, the Water Strider Port, to send expeditions in search of treasures lying in the surrounding waters. The Water Strider Port offers new opportunities: an expedition only requires a supply of food for the Water Strider and its rider, and the more supplies you allocate, the higher the chance of finding treasure.
• Gather your courage and head to the Ash Thicket biome, devastated by industrial development and the Blightstorm. In these ravaged lands, you can find Rotbolt Shards - extremely rare crystals charged with lightning, which are very difficult to obtain. They are needed to create Endstones in the Endstone Forge, a building unique to the Ash Thicket. You won’t have many opportunities to craft your own endstones, so it’s important to choose the best combination of conditions and rewards, and be prepared to take penalties in the hopes of gaining an advantage.
• Toad-specific rewards have been added to the Smoldering City upgrade tree, along with 3 new Legendary endstones, 1 new Epic endstone, 3 new Rares, and 5 new Uncommons.
• Complete 12 new edicts that reflect the toads’ traits and abilities. These encourage governors to upgrade their homes, increase their population, meet their specific needs, or otherwise take advantage of their unique strengths.
• New biomes will appear on the world map after the current cycle ends. You must be level 9 to play as the toads.
• Enjoy a new soundtrack featuring 14 new tracks that reflect the dangers and opportunities of the Coastal Grove and Ash Thicket.
